Drop Anchor -
Drop Anchor is a great place for a family reunion. We had one
here and did some major family bonding. The sea, sand and
tranquility of the Outer Banks draws you in and you won’t want to
leave. We hope to be back next year to do it all over again.

This place was great. I had fun on the beach. I also liked eating
at Colington Café. They had great food. Finding sea shells was fun.
My mom is obsessed with finding shells, but she always finds
something to make out of them. Had fun shopping. It only rained one
time. Had a fun time!

Anchor In -
Thanks for a great week. The cottage is great & well supplied –
our first time having a pool – boy did it spoil us! We enjoyed it
all - the beach the pool, the hot tub, the screened porch, the
several “hangouts” throughout the cottage… There were 9 of us here &
definitely room for more.

What a house – fun and surprises around every corner. We enjoyed
the pool daily, the hot tub late at night, even got in a game of
volleyball – not to mention the endless board games. Hope to be back
next year to hold the second annual foosball tourney!

Located between the highways at the 9-1/2 mile post and convenient to all
activities on the Outer Banks, Anchor In Cottage provides you with
everything you need for a truly memorable vacation or long weekend away. Its 5
bedrooms and 4 baths assure comfortable accommodations for up to 15 guests.
Anchor In is completely furnished with all amenities including AC, full size
washer/dryer, cable TV/VCR/DVD, and much more. A ground floor game room with a
foosball table, TV/DVD, fridge, sink and microwave makes a perfect hideaway for
the kids. An in-ground swimming pool and hot tub make Anchor In the
perfect choice for your next vacation. Sleeping arrangements are 4 queen beds,
1 double/single bunk bed and 3 queen sleep sofas. For extra large groups, we
have three cottages adjacent to one another (39 person total capacity). Beach
access is a 5-minute walk across the Beach Road.
